Schrodingers Cat, really upsets my wife!

Schrödinger’s cat is a philosophical experiment that illustrates the problems with interpreting quantum mechanics. The experiment was devised by Austrian physicist Erwin Schrödinger in 1935. It involves placing a cat in a sealed box with an item that under certain circumstances could kill the cat.  You, the observer doesn’t know whether or not the cat is alive or dead.

In the experiment, the hypothetical cat may be considered simultaneously both alive and dead, while it is unobserved in the closed box, as a result of its fate being linked to a random subatomic event that may or may not have occurred.

I think the cat is alive until it is not. One,  or the other.

My wife dislikes the cats involvement.
